Coming together from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, our skilled team of professionals is the backbone of STARS ( Sitio Tungay Animal Rescue and Shelter ). Nelly Can
Sole Proprietor, Administrator, Manager of Operations , Rescuer
With us since our founding, Nelly is one of our veteran team members. She brings compassion, leadership skills, profesional demeanor within the team and positive rapport in our community in helping our team grow and succeed.
Vivian Almasol
Secretary and Finance Manager, Rescuer
Vivian joined team STARS with the vision and drive to improve upon our animal shelter, and focused on developing the group with experience and integrity. Vivian receives donation for the group and disburses funds as deemed necessary by the group administrator.
Dinette Alovera
Vetting Manager, Events Organizer, Rescuer
Experienced, trustworthy, fun. These are just a few of the ways Dinette is describe as an invaluable member of our team. Dinette is truly a joy to be around and makes it a pleasure to see her unlimited compassion for our animals and empathy to the community. Dinette gathers investigative data and recommends rescue priorities.
Maribel Chan
Active Responder, Shelter Keeper, Rescuer
With us since our founding, Maribel brings her years of experience and skills to the forefront by responding to the many rescues she has undergone. Her energy, compassion and love for animals drives the team on a positive “vibes”!
Dolly Delgado
Moderator, Fundraiser
Group dynamics can be difficult at best when critical decisions need to be made. Dolly coaches the team to remain focused and work productively to reach end goals. Dolly is likewise involved in project fundraising through the support of people who believes in animal welfare advocacy.
